Hello! I am Lydia Kanz, like cans of soup not crayons, though I am just as colorful. I was born in Indianapolis, IN but grew up in Pierre, SD; so I've got the manners and love of home of a Midwesterner but the hunger for adventure and grit of a city girl.

 

Growing up with 3 siblings made me a fighter but also gave me deep compassion and empathy for others. I find myself in deep conversations with the most random people because I believe everyone's story deserves to be heard.

I have a variety of interests including: arts&crafts, attending live music performances, crystal healing, baking, Sci-Fi and Fantasy movies (Lord of the Rings is my JAM), Astrology, and travelling, among other things. I like to find a balance in all things I do, so I bounce around different interests.

My mother has a couple of sayings that I live by. One is "do no harm, take no shit." Be loving but don't let people walk all over you. The other one is our family motto:

"We Kanz do it!" 

And, together, we sure kanz.
